Diabetic Clinic

| Led by our nursing team, this clinic offers advice and general health check-ups to patients diagnosed with diabetes |
Asthma Clinic
|
| Asthma sufferers are seen in this clinic for advice and support from our nurses who specialise in asthma care |
| Cervical Smear Clinic |
It is very important for women between 20 and 65 to have a cervical smear test every three years.
There are many stages of cervical cancer and if picked up early this is totally curable by simple treatment and no large operation is necessary. Clinics are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If these times are not convenient, ask at reception and we will do our best to offer you a suitable time |
| Minor Surgery |
| Minor operations can be done in the treatment room. Appointments are given by your doctor. |
| Antenatal Clinic |
| Our midwife will provide most of your ante-natal care. For your first appointment and if any problems occur you will also be seen by Dr. W. James in this clinic |
| Child Health and Immunisation |
| All new babies are invited for regular check-ups from eight weeks old. This clinic is run by our Health Visitor and Dr. S. Thomas. |
| Family Planning |
| A full range of services are provided. |
Stopping Smoking
|
| For help with giving up smoking, please speak to one of our practice nurses or Health Care Assistant. Leaflets giving advice are available in the waiting room. |
| Other Health Care Services |
| The practice does not provide a minor injury service. Patients with minor injuries should attend A&E Department in Cardigan Hospital (9-5, Monday to Friday) or the A&E departments at Carmarthen, Haverfordwest or Aberystwyth. |
